Donation of Handmade Masks
COVID-19 does not only affect the Japanese economy and medical practices, but it also affects children as having various issues such as “academic disparity” and “decrease in academic ability” due to the nationwide closure of schools.
In Fukuoka, the state of emergency has been lifted, the prospect of re-schooling has risen, and it is a great relief.
Our lifestyle will be changed, and it is considered that the current infection control measures such as hand washing / gargling, *Three Cs, and wearing a mask have become the common norm and will continue for the time being.
GMEC has donated “handmade face masks” to teachers and students at junior high schools in the neighboring area.
From an ecological perspective, all the masks are hand-made and “can be washed and used many times” from the idea of “no dust is generated” and “continue using items for a long time”.
In addition, we prepared different colours of face masks with the intention of “being positive, bright, fun amid the corona virus situation!

*We made face masks with great care.
We hope that it will contribute to all the students and teachers, and staff members when the school is restarted.
Many handmade masks were made with the help of many people.
We would like to express our gratitude for making these masks to Takae Hamada, Hizuru Oga, Yuka Kunitoshi, and many others.
